Kendamas to some people are very hard, but to others they are the easiest thing in the world. Some people are good and some people are bad. IT TAKES PRACTICE to learn and be good with a kendama. Start out with the basics and make your way to harder tricks, the first trick most people learn is big cup, tap. Just practice, and practice, and practice. You never know, you may have a chance to be one of the Promodelists if you become good enough. There are many types of kendamas including sweets and Kendama co. I Suggest you get Sweets or a kendama Usa promodel.
